One of my favourite jewellery-making techniques is setting sea glass and sea pottery, and creating beautiful designs from these discarded materials. I use a bezel setting, so only a tiny proportion of the pieces I find are suitable. They need to have a fairly flat back, and a narrow profile.

I've been lucky of late, with these three finds, two ceramic, and one glass. I decided to turn all three into bold statement rings. The yellow mid-century pottery piece is a particularly unusual and eye-catching design. It is waiting for someone with a good eye, and the right size finger, but the other two feature wrap-around bands, so can be adjusted to fit.

All three rings are just back from hallmarking, and they're listed in my shop now.
