I post these pictures taken during the past month with a slightly heavy heart, knowing that it’s probably going to be several months before I can head off into the hills again. In line with guidelines on slowing the spread of the Covid 19 virus, I’ll be walking from the house, and avoiding anywhere too remote.
That said, I’m very lucky to live in a place that allows me to access to the countryside, and to lanes and footpaths, with very little danger of meeting anyone else. So, as long as we’re allowed to do so, I’ll carry on walking, and there will be landscapes. Good luck, and stay safe, everyone.
Beautiful pictures, as ever but I must shout out to that glorious sheep!
Isn’t she a beauty?
Possibly the most beautiful sheep of all time, I’d say. And the bar is high …. I love sheep!
Thanks for sharing these lovely landscapes – the closest I’ll get to anywhere like that for a while! 😀
Thanks for offering this virtual walk into a fantastic landscape! We are in strange times at the moment, we’ll probably (hopefully!) never forget this moment in time. And the more we will enjoy it when things go back to something we know as more normal. You too, stay safe!
Thanks for the lovely pictures.
The pictures help us to appreciate the beautiful world we live in. We now can hope to take better care of it.
