August Landscape: Clouds and Sheep

Finally it’s September. August seems to have lasted for much longer than a month! I’m not really a huge fan of late summer, and I’ve already started to pine for crisp frosty mornings, falling leaves, woolly cardigans, and a fire in the woodburner.

That being said, August this year has been notable for some very beautiful skies, with amazing cloud formations. I’ve managed to get out and about walking, mainly around Alwinton, including an ascent of Windy Gyle on the Border Ridge.

I’ve come accross some very fine sheep too, some of whom were happier to be photographed than others.
