The theme for this week’s photo challenge is ‘liquid’, which is timely for me, as we’ve just got back from a holiday in St Monans, on the East Neuk of Fife, Sctoland.
It’s essentially a coastal area, and the landscapes are dominated by the sea. We were blessed with wonderfully warm and sunny weather, so we spent a good deal of time exploring the Fife Coastal Path, and taking many, many photographs.
The main image shows the sky reflected in the still water of an abandoned sea water swimming pool just outside St Monans. Below are a few more of the watery pictures from the holiday.
As you can see, it’s a really magical place, and we’re hoping to make a return visit at some point.
As always there are more liquid photographs over on The Daily Post blog.
Beautiful pictures – it looks idyllic!
It really was. The weather helped, but I think it would look pretty stunning even on a grey day.
What a wonderful set of pictures of a clearly beautiful place. A place I am sure I would love to visit 🙂
