This picture of trees mirrored in the surface of the China Pool at National Trust Wallington is my response to the Weekly Photo Challenge prompt for this week. It’s a beautiful spot, and as we were there on a still day, the water was free from ripples, and the reflections were very clear and crisp.
It’s nice to be out and about again, as I’ve been quite ill for the past couple of weeks with a terrible hacking cough, which may or may not have been whooping cough. Whatever it was, it wasn’t pleasant, and left me gasping for breath at times. Fortunately, I seem to be on the mend now, so hopefully normal service will be resuming on this blog, which has been sadly neglected of late.
I’ve taken quite a literal approach to the prompt this week, but you can se some much more abstract responses, as well as many other beautiful landscapes reflected in water, over at The Daily Post.
Glad your feeling better. Lovely photo
I’m glad you are felling better … that sounds like a horrendous cough. Perhaps the burgeoning spring and onset of summer will see it off once and for all 😊
Thank you for your good wishes. I’m definitely on the mend, and some sunny weather will surely help!
Nice touch to do this in black and white. It’s a great image.
Like the photo…………..trust you have recovered. Best wishes from Australia.
