There is only one Monday remaining in 2015, and I have a poem and photograph ready to post, which means that I have completed the challenge I set myself in January. Every Monday, I have shared some poetry, illustrated with a photograph, usually one of my own, but with a couple by guest photographers.
I’ve enjoyed doing it immensely. I did struggle a little for material during the height of summer, but got back on track once autumn came around. Poets seem to be very keen on autumn. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to remember and revisit some old favourites, plus I’ve made a couple of serendipitous new discoveries along the way.
However, whilst there are plenty more poems and photographs out there, I think I’ve just about reached my limit as far as matching them together once a week goes. Having achieved my initial goal, next week’s will be the final Monday Verse. I’m thinking about setting myself another weekly challenge for 2016, but haven’t come to a decision yet. I may also continue to publish the occasional Monday Verse. Watch this space!
