A few days ago, I posted a picture of the buds on our quince tree.

After a few days of warm sunshine, they have opened in spectacular fashion. The tree is smothered in blossom, which not only looks wonderful, but also has a very heady, jasmine-like scent.

The response to this week’s photo challenge, Forces of Nature, has been very varied, ranging from dramatic storms and tides, to tiny seedlings pushing up through the earth. Take a look over on the Daily Post blog.
